We prioritize the privacy of our users, subscribers, publishers, members, and all others who access or use LiveCast Services (collectively "you" or "users"). We want to ensure you understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
When using LiveCast Services, you may share personal information. For instance, this occurs when you provide details about yourself during the LiveCast account creation process. It also happens when you perform certain actions on LiveCast Services that are public or intended to be public, such as broadcasting content, posting profile details, following a channel, or subscribing to a broadcast channel. Given the social nature of certain LiveCast Services, this information may be collected, utilized, or disclosed by others involved in those social interactions. Furthermore, some LiveCast features are designed to share user activity information with others, such as identifying the creator of a specific Clip or a user's subscription status for a channel. We gather information about you through the methods described below as we provide LiveCast Services. Please be aware that certain types of information are necessary for us to deliver LiveCast Services to you.
Information You Provide

You agree to provide some or all of the following Personal Information when you create an account on the Platform, use LiveCast Services (such as uploading content), or contact us for technical support:
Registration details, including your date of birth, phone number (or email, if applicable), password, user ID, and language preference;
Profile details, such as your alias, profile photos, gender, hometown, bio, social media links, education, and career;
User-generated content ("UGC"), including comments, text, messages, photos, images, videos, audio, code, or other data/materials you upload, distribute, or stream on the Platform while using LiveCast Services;
Facial data, for instance, when using features to create special effects or emojis for your stream or uploaded pictures. This data is processed offline solely to enable these effects and will not be used for other purposes without your explicit consent or unless de-identified. Furthermore, we will not use your facial data for marketing or advertising, nor share it with third parties. Additionally, if you use Real-Person Profile Picture Authentication, we collect your profile picture and a facial-recognition video with your approval to compare them. This authentication helps protect against impersonators and fake accounts, enhancing the authenticity of LiveCast Services. We do not store your face recognition video on our servers; it is used solely for verification purposes.
Payment details, such as bank account number, PayPal account, or other necessary payment information;
Transaction details, including transaction serial numbers and history regarding your purchase of Paid Services;
Social network contacts, with your permission, when you enable the "Discover Friends" feature and grant us access to your contacts;
Global Positioning System (GPS) information, provided you allow us permission. You may modify access to your GPS information via your mobile device settings;
Your preferences and correspondence with us, such as information used for account verification or to resolve feedback/complaints; and
Information provided when participating in in-app surveys and activities.
Information from social media when you create a LiveCast account by connecting a third-party social media service (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google) or link your LiveCast account to such a service;
Information Collected Automatically for Legitimate Interests
We may collect some or all of the following Personal Information about you for legitimate interests when you use LiveCast Services:
Network activity data, such as browsing history, search history, videos or pages visited, visit dates and times, other user accounts subscribed to, and interactions with other users;
Information from Other Sources: We may receive additional information from third parties and sources outside of LiveCast Services. For instance, we might obtain information from games or services you use, or social media networks (like Facebook) where you have granted access. When accessing LiveCast Services via social media or connecting LiveCast Services to social media networks, you authorize LiveCast to collect, store, and use such additional information and content in compliance with this Privacy Policy.
Device identifiers, including operating system, browser type, brand, model, and serial number of your mobile device, IP address, mobile carrier, screen resolution, language settings, IMEI, IMSI, and MAC address;
Information regarding your access to and usage of other apps;
Other location data, such as information derived from your SIM card;
Mobile advertising identifiers, used by mobile operating systems and provided to advertisers to gather app metrics (e.g., Apple’s IDFA or Google’s AAID), helping us and advertisers deliver ads more relevant to your interests;
Metadata associated with your UGC, describing other data and providing context on how, when, and by whom the UGC was collected and formatted, such as hashtags used to label keywords in videos and captions; and
Cookies, which are small data pieces enabling specific features. These are collected by us or our business partners to measure and understand web page interactions and your usage of LiveCast Services, thereby enhancing your experience.
We may also collect, use, and share your information to generate and distribute aggregated insights that do not identify you personally. Aggregated data may be derived from Personal Information but is not considered Personal Information as it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we might aggregate usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific feature, to generate user statistics, or to calculate ad impressions/clicks.
Utilization of Your Information
We will only use your Personal Information where permitted by applicable laws. Generally, we use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
Service Provision: to present LiveCast Services and their content to you, including interactive features, and to provide information, products, or services you authorize. We also collect and use Personal Information to verify eligibility and deliver prizes for promotions and sweepstakes;
Service Improvement: to enhance and personalize our services by introducing new features, information, recommendations, and feedback mechanisms;
Customer Management: to manage registered user accounts, provide customer support, and send notices regarding accounts, subscriptions, or changes to LiveCast Services or other products/services offered;
Communication: to communicate directly with you, for example, sending notifications about upcoming changes, promotional activities, or improvements to LiveCast Services;
Content Review: to review pictures, images, and content posted or generated on LiveCast Services to ensure compliance with applicable content regulations in relevant jurisdictions;
Content Customization: to research and analyze your use of or interest in content, products, advertising, or services on LiveCast Services, allowing us to develop and display content tailored to your interests on our Website and App;
Performance Analysis: to determine if LiveCast Services users are unique, if the same user accesses services multiple times, and to monitor aggregate metrics like visitor counts, video views, and demographic patterns;
Functionality and Security: to identify users under the age limit, diagnose/fix technical issues, detect/prevent/respond to fraud, illegal activities, or IP infringement, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We also provide Apple with necessary personal data to assist in reviewing app refund requests (users can withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@livecastsoft.com)
Compliance: to enforce our terms of use and Comply with legal obligations;
Aggregation: to aggregate collected information for one or more of the purposes described above.
Cookies: We, along with our vendors and service providers, use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, flash cookies) ("Cookies") to automatically collect information, analyze web page interactions and Platform usage, enhance your experience, and improve services. Cookies are small files placed on your device enabling certain Platform features. Web beacons (or "pixel tags"/"clear GIFs") are tiny identifying images that recognize Cookies, view times/dates, page descriptions, and similar device info. Using the Platform constitutes consent to our use of Cookies.
Additionally, we link your contact or subscriber information with your activity on our Platform across all devices using your email or other login/device info. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, which are not covered by this Privacy Policy.
Please note that we may process your Personal Information on more than one lawful ground depending on the specific purpose for which we use your Personal Information.
Sharing Your Information
Please be aware that if your profile is set to public, your content is visible to everyone on the Platform and may be accessed or shared by friends, followers, and third parties including search engines, content aggregators, and news sites. You have the option to adjust privacy settings for each video or picture you upload.
We may share your data with other members, subsidiaries, or affiliates within our corporate group to enhance and optimize the Platform and to prevent illicit usage.
We may share your Personal Information outside of LiveCast Services provided we have your explicit or implied consent.
We may disclose your Personal Information to our corporate affiliates (entities controlling, controlled by, or under common control with us) as necessary for services, customer management, content customization, advertising, analytics, verifications, functionality, security, and compliance.
We may disclose your Personal Information to authorized service providers performing services on our behalf. These services include order fulfillment, payment processing, content customization, analytics, security, map navigation, hosting, and other features of LiveCast Services. These providers may access Personal Information required for their functions but are prohibited from using it for other purposes. However, connecting to a third-party service through LiveCast Services or linking your account authorizes us to share information with that party. We may also share watch history or activity data with such third parties to improve your experience.
We may disclose or transfer your Personal Information to a buyer or successor in events like verified mergers, divestitures, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or sale/transfer of assets (including bankruptcy/liquidation), where user Personal Information is among the transferred assets. In such cases, we will strive to ensure the recipient handles your Personal Information consistent with this policy.
We access, preserve, and share your Personal Information with regulators, law enforcement, or others if reasonably necessary to (a) comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests; (b) enforce terms of use and investigate violations; (c) detect/prevent illegal activities, security, or technical issues; (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, users, employees, or third parties; or (e) maintain the security and integrity of LiveCast Services.
We may disclose aggregated user information. We may also share aggregated data with third parties for general business analysis. This data does not contain Personal Information and is used to develop content and services of interest to you and others.
International Data Transfers
Your Personal Information may be processed by us or our trusted third-party suppliers outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions with data protection laws equivalent to yours. In compliance with applicable laws, we implement measures to ensure your information remains protected when transferred to jurisdictions with less adequate protection. These measures may include data transfer agreements with standard data protection clauses.
Links to Third-Party Websites or Apps
Clicking links to other websites, mobile apps, or third-party content via LiveCast Services will direct you away from our platform, where other entities may collect your data. We do not control, review, or assume responsibility for these third-party sites, apps, or their content. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them or any data collected after you leave our Services.
Data Security
We employ appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access and disclosure. Only authorized employees access Personal Information for business needs. We use encryption for data transmission and firewalls to prevent unauthorized access. However, please note that we cannot eliminate all security risks associated with data storage and transmission. Exercise caution when submitting information through LiveCast Services.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information at all times.
Your Choices
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when they are sent. Disabling cookies is browser/device-specific, so you may need to do this for each one. Note that disabling cookies may render some parts of the Website inaccessible or non-functional.
You can opt out of push notifications at any time by adjusting your mobile device permissions.
You can disable GPS, Microphone, Camera, or similar functions on your mobile device if you prefer not to share them. You can also hide your location, uploads, and activity via "Privacy" settings.
You may choose not to provide Personal Information, but this may prevent you from using certain features, registering, purchasing Paid Services, or participating in promotions/surveys.
You can access, correct, update, or delete your information by editing your profile in the App.
Your Rights
You may request to access, modify, or delete your Personal Information by (a) using the Help or Feedback function on LiveCast Services or (b) emailing us. We will respond in accordance with applicable laws after verification.
California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information collected or shared for commercial use. To make this request, email info@livecastsoft.com with the subject line "Identification of Personal Information+Californian+Your LiveCast ID". We may require verification (e.g., phone number/PIN) before responding. We cannot process requests via mail, phone, or fax.
California residents may also request deletion of collected Personal Information. To do so, email info@livecastsoft.com with the subject line "Deletion of Personal Information+Californian+Your LiveCast ID". Please describe the information to be deleted and provide details to help us locate it (e.g., date provided, specific content). Verification may be required. We cannot process incomplete requests or those sent via mail/phone/fax. Complete deletion is not guaranteed if information has been shared/reposted.
California residents are encouraged to designate an authorized agent to exercise privacy rights. To do so, submit a valid Power of Attorney ("POA") with your request. We will contact the agent upon confirming validity.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we discover such data has been collected, we will take steps to delete it.

Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information as long as you maintain your LiveCast account.
You may request account deletion via Me > Settings > Connected Account > Delete Account in the app, or by emailing info@livecastsoft.com Upon review, we will delete data not required for legal/regulatory purposes. We retain location, device, and usage data for a reasonable period for safety, security, and fraud prevention/detection. We may be unable to delete accounts with balances or unresolved disputes until the issue is resolved.
We may retain certain information for safety, security, and fraud prevention users indefinitely, specifically to prevent banned users from creating new accounts.
Privacy Policy Changes
We may modify this privacy policy periodically. While we may attempt to notify you of major changes, you should regularly review the current version on LiveCast Services.
Changes are effective upon posting and reflected in the "last updated date". Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
